REMINDER - Proficiencies need to be completed before 31 December and can be done during morning patrol on any Saturday or Sunday. You have to participate in the morning patrol to be eligible to do the proficiency. If you don’t complete it before 31 December, you will not be able to compete at all for the remainder of the season.

There are two surf carnivals next Saturday (20/12) – one at Nth Cronulla and the other being the last round of the Sydney Water Series at Warilla.

As the Warilla carnival is part of a four carnival series and the fact that the entry fee to compete in just the last carnival is really steep, only those competitors who have been consistent through out this series will be entered for this carnival.

Everyone else will be competing at Nth Cronulla, so if you haven’t as yet entered or not sure which carnival you are entered in please contact Deb Hanson a call. Entries close for Nth Cronulla on Monday (15/12) afternoon.

ATTENTION COMPETITORS
 

 From the Competition Manager

To compete at carnivals in 2008/09 you must:

  1. Have completed your proficiency test before 31 December 2008 (see your patrol roster) and keep a record of the date.
  2. Have carried out at least 25 patrol hours between 1 January 2008 and 31 December 2008.
  3. Be a financial member of Manly LSC
  4. Complete the Manly Competitors Information form on this page and submit it to the Competition Manager

If you are unable to attend any of the carnivals that you nominate on your form, you  MUST contact Debbie or your section manager / liaison person before the closing date for entries. If you fail to do so, you will NOT be entered in any further carnivals. If you decide to enter a carnival AFTER the closing date you will be expected to pay the late entry fee.
