NAOMI SELECTED FOR RESCUE 2008

After a very successful season despite some serious setbacks after being wacked unconcious during the last round Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Ironman Series at Coogee and a serious eye infection kept her from the Nationals , Naomi has realised her dream to be selected into the Australian Team at "Worlds".

The 2008 World Championships Rescue 2008 , one of the most significant life saving competitions in the world, will take place in Germany. Arranged by the German Life Saving Organisation (DLRG) on behalf of the world association International Life Saving Federation (ILS), competition will be held from 18 July to 2 August 2008. Around  4,000 participants will take part in competitions in Berlin and Warnemünde.

Naomi will see some familiar faces at the competition. Manly Life Saving Club  will be sending a team of twelve to Rescue 2008. Fundraising to to send these amazing competitiors to Worlds is currently underway.
